OMG, I have a newfound respect for New Belgium Brewing Company. Those folks rock. I was able to meet several of them last week at 12 South Taproom for a pre-Tour de Fat gathering. Hanging out with them made me lose all track of time, but it sure was fun.
Early Saturday morning was the bike parade in Centennial Park. I didn’t have an idea as to what to expect. I was blown away by the neat looking bikes and outfits that some of the riders wore. The spirit was great. The event was for charity and I believe the Ride for Reading raised a lot of money that day.
The event made me want to purchase a bike. After the bike parade, there was New Belgium beer for all to purchase of course. I got lucky enough to have beer tokens.
I ended up with all kinds of cool swag.
